Jack Frost came visiting this week. Friday we had freezing rain all day long, and sometime that night we got about 3-4 inches of snow. We woke up Saturday morning with the power out and the house at about 57 degrees. Our street has power lines and trees blocking half of the lane in 2 places. We went out to grab some candles and a hot lunch and came home at about 2pm and the power was back on already! A very nice suprise since last time the power stayed out for about 4 days. Thankfully I didn't have to use and drastic measures to keep my aquarium from getting too cold. Here is a picture of our backyard winter wonderland. Which is actually a very pretty site from inside the house where there is heat.
